I know that sometimes, the stress of life can make it hard to keep the hope going. Whether from our job, our relationships, specific events and losses, or just the world at large, it all adds up. By working together, we can focus on your inner strength and resilience.
Before beginning my masters in counselling psychology, I worked 15 years in emergency dispatch where I recently volunteered on the peer support team. This has shown me firsthand the grind faced by frontline helpers and first responders, from rotating shifts to workplace dynamics. In addition, I bring a trauma-informed perspective where we can go at your own pace. There’s no one approach that works for everyone, so I am curious to know your unique story - your history, your experiences, and your cultural roots.
I hold a BSc from University of Manitoba, and I look for an evidence-based approach that fits your own goals. I draw on CBT, narrative, and solution-focused techniques, while continuing to learn about trauma recovery. I also love animals and nature.”
