MCSW, BA

Registered Social Worker, Contract Counselling Clinician

I have been a practicing social worker since 2013, and am a member of the MCSW. I hold a Bachelors degree in Arts (Major in Psychology) and Social Work from the University of Manitoba.

I have over 9 years of experience working with children and families and am knowledgeable in working with individuals experiencing relationship difficulties, parent-teen conflict, general parenting issues, struggles with life changes, mental health struggles and more. My therapeutic approaches, strategies, and techniques are tailored using a client-centered approach, and I value being able to empower the people I work with. I enjoy working with people of all ages, however, believe I have a strong skill set in supporting children, youth and young adults who have challenging behaviours.

I believe that trust and collaboration is the foundation to any therapeutic relationship as I believe whole-heartedly that the client is the expert in their own life. Therefore, using a strength-based, client-centered approach, I will walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey and provide you with tools, techniques, and guidance that will assist you as you work towards positive changes and achieve your goals.
