I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and I’m excited to start my Master’s and EMDR training in 2024. My main goal? To create a welcoming space where you feel truly seen and heard. I believe in a personal, down-to-earth approach, meeting you right where you are. When you come to see me, I aim for you to feel at ease, as if you’re sharing your story with someone who genuinely listens, empathizes, and appreciates your experiences. Top of Form
I always try to see things from your perspective, because your story is unique and incredibly important.
I’m really passionate about being there for my clients as they tackle life’s ups and downs. I respect the wisdom and strength each person brings to our sessions. Whether I’m working with kids, teens, or adults, I use a holistic approach that recognizes and supports each individual’s journey. I see every client as the expert of their own life. My job is to help you navigate through tough times, always keeping in mind your unique cultural background and personal experiences.
In my toolkit, I’ve got a bunch of different methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Land Based Therapy, especially focusing on addiction, mental health, harm reduction, and helping with suicidal thoughts. I’m really interested in helping people with their relationships, and dealing with things like depression, anxiety, and stress. I absolutely love what I do and can’t wait to work together with you!
I’m all about making sure you get the best care possible. I’m always learning new things and adding to my skills to better help you. But I also know my limits. If I think you’d benefit more from a different kind of therapy or a specialist, I won’t hesitate to point you in the right direction. It’s all about what’s best for you. I’m here to support you every step of the way, making sure you get the care and attention you deserve.
